The Highland Touring Club was a very active sports car club in a period when sports cars were still a novelty in the United States. The Highland Club was from the San Francisco Bay Area and of the most active with rallies, poker runs, gymkhanas and social gatherings. These original badges are quite rare since few survived over the past seven decades. This metal badge, measures 3 1/2″ wide by 4 1/2″ high and has one hole at the bottom for attaching to a license plate frame or bumper.
