AA Northern India Car Badge Very Rare 1920’s Goodwood Classic Vintage Cars

A very rare Northern India car badge, had this for years, clearing the attic out.

The Highland Touring Club was a very active sports car club in a period when sports cars were still a novelty in the United States. The Highland Club was from the San Francisco Bay Area and of the most active with rallies, poker runs, gymkhanas and social gatherings. These original badges are quite rare since few survived over the past seven decades. This metal badge, measures 3 1/2″ wide by 4 1/2″ high and has one hole at the bottom for attaching to a license plate frame or bumper.

1940s/50s Sport Cars Unlimited Club Grille Badge & Officer Pins San Francisco. Vintage Sport Cars Unlimited enameled grille badge from the 1940s/1950s, along with two officer lapel pins – one for a president and one for a past president. Sport Cars Unlimited was a sports and racing car club in the Bay Area during the late 40’s early 50’s. The latitude and longitude specify a location in the East Bay near Danville. Substantial badge with mounting hardware measures approximately 3 1/2 (8.5 cm) inches in diameter. Pins are roughly 3/4 diameter (2 cm). Overall good condition with some crazing on the badge and a couple of small chips out of the enamel. Pins also show signs of age and wear. See photos for detail.
